West Midlands Mental Health Commissioning Network

October 11th 2016 Best Western Plus Manor Hotel

Further to the continued success of the regional Mental Health Commissioning Networks, we are delighted to announce we are holding an eighth West Midlands event, which will run as a full day event from 10.30am - 4.30pm.

The meeting will be chaired by Professor Swaran P Singh, Head, Mental Health and Wellbeing, Deputy Head, Division of Health Sciences, Honorary Consultant Psychiatrist, Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust, Commissioner, Equality and Human Rights Commission with a focus on:

  • Recovery in the community - reducing pressure in secondary care
  • The hidden costs of Schizophrenia and parity of esteem
  • ADHD in adults - an opportunity for integrated commissioning.

The aim of the networks is to bring together like minded people from primary and secondary care, and associated organisations involved in the commissioning and delivery of services to care for and support patients with mental health conditions. This provides a platform for active discussion and exchange of ideas to cope with the commissioning challenges encountered in mental health in a more integrated way.

This meeting has been sponsored and supported financially by Lundbeck Otsuka Alliance, Shire Ltd & Sunovion Ltd
